VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2011) - Alexco Resource Corp. (TSX:AXR)(NYSE Amex:AXU) today announces pre-tax income of $3.8 million and net income of $3.1 million ($0.05 per share) for the three months ended September 30, 2011. The period marks the third full quarter of production from the Bellekeno mine since the start of commercial production in January. Bellekeno, located in Yukon's Keno Hill Silver District, is Canada's only producing primary silver mine.
